Welcome to the AFGE Local 709 web page. Local 709 is the exclusive representative for the bargaining unit employees who work at FCI Englewood. This web page is intended as an alternate means of keeping the membership informed of local issues. UNITY is accomplished by dues paying members, participating in the meetings and by interacting with your union brothers and sisters.

Before you can get into the Members only Section of this website you will need to fill out the form under Contact Us. After verification you will then be added to the e-mail list so that you can be kept up to date on issues for Local 709. You will also, be sent a password to be able to log on to the Members only section. Additionally, should you want an e-mail address yourname@afge709.org you can request one and it will be assigned. Directions will be sent on how to log in to change your mail password, retrieve your mail, or forward it to another account.
